Der TCON Telekonverter ermöglicht Teleaufnahmen mit einer 1,7-fachen Vergrösserung. Die Brennweite lässt sich einfach einstellen, beispielsweise von 100 mm auf 170mm. Dadurch ersteht der Vorteil, dass auch weit entfernte Motive problemlos erfasst werden können. Für alle Besitzer einer Olympus TG-1 Kamera erweist sich der Telekonverter als einwandfreies Aufrüstungstool. In dem Zusammenhang kann sogar eine 6,8-fache Vergrösserung erzielt werden.
